Expositor: Barn quilt project adds to St. George bicentennial

Here is another great article about the barn quilts.

ST. GEORGE – If you drive or walk around the St. George area these days, chances are you’ll notice a quilt mounted on the wall of a prominent building.

Go a little farther and see another, then another — and another.

The first one, called Agriculture, went up at a corn roast on Sunday on the restored black barn of John Pate, a landmark Brantwood Farms building on King George Road, at the southern entrance to the village.

A second one, called Railroad, is mounted at Dave’s Auto Centre near the main intersection of Beverly and Main streets.

A third one, called Firefighters, is at Ilett Feed and Supplies on Highway 5.
